Bolton Hotel

A premier destination for conferences in Wellington.

Tākina Wellington Convention and Exhibition Centre was designed to position Wellington as a premier destination for international and domestic conferences, benefiting the city, region, and country. It also serves as a platform to share the nation’s stories.

As the capital’s largest infrastructure investment since the Wellington Regional Stadium over two decades ago, this striking new building spans three floors and 18,000 square meters. Tākina offers state-of-the-art event facilities, inviting visitors to Wellington to learn, connect, and be inspired.

Construction commenced in December 2019, and the centre officially opened its doors in June 2023.

"I am the owner and managing director of the Bolton Hotel, previous to this, I was employed for more than 35 years as a senior executive in our family owned major commercial builder company. As such I feel I am well qualified to endorse the Ke Kelit steelFIX piping system. The Bolton Hotel was faced with a major problem which involved the replacement of our faulty main hot water riser and return line from top to bottom of our 20 level building. The Ke Kelit steelFIX piping system and fittings reduced this job to simplicity. It was a pity to lag the finished pipework, it looked so good and workmanlike when finished. I would be pleased to be contacted for further information."
