CENTRAL HEATING

You design the home, we design the heating system

WHY SELECT CENTRAL HEATING?

Living in a home with central heating means enjoying radiant warmth that’s healthy, energy efficient, clean and comfortable

NZ homes (whether heritage or contemporary) have for so long endured poor heating models. KE KELIT is proud to introduce the very best in European heating technology to NZ’s climate and construction methods.

We have specialised in this form of heating for over 70 years, and now it’s NZ’s turn. The superiority of this central heating provides homes with three major benefits: energy efficiency, home health and comfort.

KE KELIT has adopted stringent European design requirements for central heating designs, providing New Zealand architects, homeowners & installers the highest levels of assurance that the system will deliver what it says it will.

WHAT IS CENTRAL HEATING

Central heating provides heat to the entire home from one central location. A central heating system has three parts:

  1. The heat source (various types of boilers - waste/oil/diesel/gas/wood for example and hot water heat pumps are the main types of heat sources)
  2. The heat emitter (how warmth is delivered into the actual room - under floor heating or radiators)
  3. The heating water pipes (used to distribute heat from source to emitter)

A central heating system circulates heated water through a network of heating pipes to in-room emitters (underfloor heating, radiators or heat convectors).

These emitters create radiant heat: a type of warmth that’s evenly transferred around the room/home by natural convection.

With central heating, you get a well-designed, programmable heating system which delivers a responsive level of warmth - globally recognised as the most economical and efficient type of central heating available.

It all adds up to superior comfort, energy efficiency and healthy home.
