Automatic Air Vents

The Flexvent floating air vent consists of a closed brass housing and an interior made entirely of plastic. The water level lifts the float, keeping the air valve mechanism closed. When air collects in the vent housing, the water level drops, causing the float to lower and open the vent valve. The collected air is vented, allowing the water level to rise and the air valve to close again. This process will keep repeating as long as air enters the vent housing during normal operation.

To enable even faster installation of the Flexvent air vents, the versions with a valve sleeve (shut-off valve) in the dimensions ⅜", ½" and ¾" are equipped with a self-sealing incision gasket. In practice, this means that the installer doesn’t need to use sealing tape for installing these versions into a heating system anymore. The Flexvents are also equipped with a captive cap with a user-friendly open/close function and leak prevention.

To guarantee top quality, we test all Flexvents before they leave our factory.

Prevents air from entering the heating system in case of negative pressure. Replaces the standard cap of the Flexvent.

Integrated spring rings protect against possible leaks caused by contamination.

• The cap of the Flexvent Super is conical in shape. The advantage of this construction is that the clearance between the water level and the venting valve is maximised.
• The air escape duct can be opened or closed with an adjusting screw.
• The venting valve forms an integral part of the cap, so that it is impossible to damage the float vent mechanism from the outside.
