LEXEL PIPE INSULATION SYSTEM
Universal Pipe Insulation
Through its structure, the LEXEL pipe insulation system receives specific characteristics that set new benchmarks in thermal insulation, noise insulation and condensation formation prevention.
Fit for purpose in operating conditions from -40 to +100°C with coefficients of thermal conductivity (α) ranging from 0.38 W/mK to 0.042 W/mK for temperatures of 20°C and 60°C respectively.
THE LEXEL PIPE INSULATION SYSTEM
The tube is made of cross-linked, closed-cell, flexible PE foam, a viscoplastic protective sleeve and a tough fabric made HDPE. The tube is suited for insulating both hot and cold pipe systems.
The special profile of bubbles and air chambers on the inside of the tube increases the insulation resistance against impact sound.
The system is completely CFC-free.
PREVENTION OF CONDENSATION FORMATION
Effective protection from the formation of condensation can only be achieved if, due to the insulation of the cold medium pipe, the surface temperature (T0 ) becomes greater than the dew point (Tdew ) of the air containing water vapour.
The use of a building essentially depends on the precaution for avoiding the transmission of structure-borne noise.
The LEXEL system provides reliable solutions to noise insulation concerns. Combining its distinctive damping elements from nub-air chambers, softness and high elastic foam, excellent noise damping occurs.
