CENTRAL HEATING SYSTEM DESIGN PROCESS

Bringing a European approach to New Zealand heating design

THERMAL ANALYSIS

A 3D model of your home is created, and all project specific building information is entered into the thermal calculation software

DESIGN

The design process involves sizing your central heating system. Things like the amount of underfloor heating piping and size of radiators is important.

FINE TUNING

Fine tune the design by optimising the central heating system to improve efficiency and reducing energy consumption.

CONTROL SYSTEM

The control of your central heating system will be user friendly and tailored to your family’s requirements, lifestyle and specific requests.

WEATHER COMPENSATION

Viessmann’s weather compensating controls can offer you additional energy savings of up to 15% and ensure an incredibly comfortable home – with a pleasant indoor temperature, whatever the weather.

YOUR HOME DETAILS

The KE KELIT Climate Control team of design engineers will require a set of house plans. This won’t be a problem for new builds, however accurate plans for existing homes can be a bit harder to come by.

In these instances when accurate plans are not available we will arrange with you a time that is convenient to come and measure up your home. During this visit we capture specific details about your home that are required to complete the design process.

The whole design process is completed in accordance with European central heating standards and once completed all design data and verification reports are available in addition to system design and installation drawings.

KE KELIT feel strongly that we must be respectful of our values, responsible to our clients and caring of the environment. The use of high efficiency heat sources and weather compensation controls will save our clients significant amounts of money over the years and reduce C02 emissions by meaningful amounts.

KE KELIT Climate Control have only two rules that are not flexible when designing a central heating system.

All heat sources must be high efficiency and every system design must have a weather compensating control system.

These two rules are mandatory in countries like Germany however in New Zealand the option for basic heat sources and control systems are still allowed.

The increase in investment is quickly returned by significant energy saving that can exceed 30%, and once this investment is returned you will experience efficient operation of your central heating system during its entire life cycle.
